Introduction

The First German Windows High Performance User Group Meeting was initiated as a platform for information exchange between Windows HPC users but also between Microsoft and its HPC users.
The balanced selection of vendor and user presentations gave after the first feedback raise to fruitful discussions and cooperation.

Agenda

On Monday evening the meeting has started with a guided tour through the old Cathedral of Aachen at 5 p.m. followed by a dinner in the nearby restaurant "Kazan" at 6.30 p.m. in the Annastraße 26.

Tuesday morning presentations has started at 9:00 in the Center for Computing and Communication (building Seffenter Weg 23). Vendor's sessions has included talks from Microsoft, Intel, Cisco, Allinea, and The MathWorks followed by user sessions from industry as well as from renowned educational and research institutions.
Finally there has been be a question-and-answer session with HPC experts from Microsoft, where the participants has discussed their most urgent questions.

The presentations has been given in English or German.
