If you plan a longer stay in Aachen, here we offer a selection of hotels in Aachen.You can make your own room reservations through the Aachen tourist office's registration web site.
If you plan to check in later than 18:00, you'll have to notify the hotel's reception desk.The hotels in the city center are within walking distance (25 minutes) to the Center for Computing and Communication, Aachen University (RWTH),
office building Seffenter Weg 23.Alternatively you can take the bus number 33, which runs every 15 minutes (schedule*) and takes 8 minutes between the central bus station (Aachen Bushof H.14) and the bus stop Mies-van-der-Rohe-Straße. The H.14 stop is outside of the main building of the bus station in the Kurhausstraße. Mies-van-der-Rohe-Straße is the next stop after the bus passes through the tunnel beneath the Aachen-West train station. You can always purchase tickets in the bus. Please contact the bus driver.Some hotels in the list are close to the Aachen central station (Hauptbahnhof). Walking distance would be 45 minutes approximately.As the Computing Center is close to the station Aachen-West, it is very convenient to take a train from the Aachen central station
(Hauptbahnhof). It is a one or two stop ride and takes about 6 minutes (timetable). Purchase the train tickets in a slot machine or at a counter of the "Reisezentrum" before you enter the train.You may as well take the bus number 33 from the stop Normaluhr at the upper end of the Theaterstraße (close to the hotel IBIS Normaluhr), which runs 4 times an hour (schedule*) and takes about 15 minutes to the Mies-van-der-Rohe-Straße. only available in german!
