Running Ansys 12 Products with the Windows Batch System
Ansys
Open Microsoft HPC Job Manager (Start -> programs -> Microsoft HPC Pack -> HPC Job Manager) In the Actions pane, select "New single-Task Job"
Fill out the wizard according to the following example.

Notes:
- Due to licensing restrictions you can only use a maximum of 2 cores per calculation
Ansys CFX
Open Ansys CFX and then start the "CFX Solver Manager 12.0". When the solver manager comes up, select "File -> Define run..."
Fill out the wizard according to the following example

Select "Start run" and enter your credentials if necessary to submit your job to the cluster.
Notes:
- Be sure to select "Submit to Windows CCS.." as run mode
- If the calculation does not start immediately, your job might be waiting for computing resources in the job queue. You can check that using the Microsoft HPC Jobmanager (Start -> Programs -> Microsoft HPC Pack -> HPC Job Manager)
- Your job might fail because of insufficient licenses. The cluster scheduler unfortunately is not yet able to check for license availability before starting a job. In this case try to allocate less cores or try again at a later time.
- unlike Ansys CFX 11, it is not possible to run Ansys CFX 12 through the Microsoft HPC Job manager directly
