Registration in TIM
The following registration steps may appear complicated at first sight, but once you have finished the procedure described below, you can easily manage your accounts and set or change passwords by yourself. You need a valid access authorization to be able to use the TIM database system.

Student of the RWTH Aachen -> Students (also Ph.D. students) are registered automatically. By activating your account (http://www.rwth-aachen.de/go) you will get the password for TIM. To activate your account you need your personal unlock code. More information concerning the activation is available on the websites of the RZ-ServiceDesk. Employee of the RWTH -> Employees with an employment contract with the Department 8 of the RWTH are already registered. If you have received your unlock code via internal mail, you get your password after activating your account on the following website (http://www.rwth-aachen.de/go). More information can be found on the correspondin websites.

Employee of the University Hospital -> There is a special procedure for the employees of university hospital.

None of the mentioned above -> If you need access to our services on behalf of the RWTH, please register as a RWTH-Partner (RWTH-Partner-System).
