Free software for RWTH-employees and students
RWTH Aachen is member of the "Microsoft Developer Network for Academic Alliance" (MSDNAA) software licence program since 2004. This licence program is a significant enhancement of the established Microsoft SELECT program. Please bear in mind that you accept the licence agreement by participating in the MSDNAA program.

How to access the MSDNAA-download server of the RWTH Aachen University Center for Computing and Communication
RWTH-students and employees without a valid TIM-user-ID can unlock their account here .
Students log in at CAMPUS-Office , the web portal for students at the RWTH Aachen . Click on “MSDNAA” on the left side of the navigation bar (see image below).
Employees of the RWTH: Use the " Login für Mitarbeiter " in the CAMPUS -system. Please use your TIM-User ID (e.g. xy123456) and the password of the CAMPUSOffice/Webdienste account. If you do not know your password, please reset it in the user administration (TIM). Choose „MSDNAA“.
Please bear in mind that within the licence agreement the purchased licences are intended to be used in context of education. Commercial and productive uses within the organisation of the university as well as the assignment of rights to a third party are prohibited.
